Where are we?

The "Edge of The World" is not just a catchphrase. It is a wild, rocky, geographical point on the rugged North West Coast of Tasmania belted by the fierce winds of the Roaring 40’s, where no landfall stands between you and the Islands of Patagonia in South America. Abundant camping sites, fishing, walking tracks, 4WD opportunities abound in our National Parks or Conservation areas. These areas all make up the Tarkine Region - a expansive cool climate rainforest bordering almost the length of the Arthur River to Corinna and across to Waratah and Hellyer Gorge. Tasmania's North West is accessible by car, just turn right on Bass Highway if disembarking from the Spirit of Tasmania, or head west from Launceston, Devonport or Burnie airports.
